Hello. I am Kim Hyung-taek, the CEO doctor of Kowon Plastic Surgery Clinic.
In this answer note, a question about stitch removal after nasal surgery was posted.
I am responding to that question.

Q. I have a question about nasal surgery stitches and dissolvable threads
I had a hump nose correction surgery on January 7, and all the stitches from the nasal surgery were removed.
The inside of my nose feels almost fully healed too, but since I had the surgery, a big booger keeps forming inside my nose, so it is very uncomfortable to breathe... ㅠ
Because of that, I pulled it out with tweezers, and something that looked like a long piece of stitch from the nasal surgery came out with it, so I feel like something serious happened... Will this cause any problem??..
I was told the stitches inside would be dissolvable threads, but will there be a problem with my nose..?
It seems that after you had hump nose correction surgery and had all the nasal surgery stitches removed, you felt something stuck inside your nose, and when you pulled it out with tweezers, something that looked like a nasal surgery stitch came out, so you are very worried.
At this point, the time when the nasal surgery stitches should have been removed has already passed, so there will not be any major problem.
The stitches that needed to be removed have already been removed, and the remaining thread was likely dissolvable sutures.
Therefore, there is no need to worry too much.
I hope you have a good result from the surgery.
