Hello. I am Kim Hyung-taek, CEO of Kowon Plastic Surgery.
In this answer note, the question is whether tip cartilage repositioning is possible when receiving revision nose surgery after septal surgery.
I have provided my answer to that question.

Q. After septal surgery, is it possible to reposition the tip cartilage when getting revision nose surgery?
I previously had septal nose surgery on January 17, 2017.
After the septoplasty, I also had rhinoplasty.
After correcting the nose with septal surgery, I used the remaining septal cartilage to raise the bridge and tip of the nose, but I did not want to lower the tip, so I only had the tip raised.
Maybe because of that, my nose looks upturned.
I want to have revision nose surgery and only lower the tip, but if I do have surgery, would I need to add a nasal implant?
Or would it be possible to correct it by repositioning the tip cartilage using the septal surgery that was already done?
Please advise.
It seems that you are very concerned because, after having septal nose surgery on January 17, 2017, your nasal tip is raised and your nose looks upturned.
Since it has only been about a month and a half since your septal surgery,
if you want to undergo revision nose surgery with tip cartilage repositioning,
it would be best to wait at least about 6 months.
If revision surgery becomes possible after about 6 months, you would proceed with revision surgery to lower the tip,
and if the septum is strong, correction may be possible by repositioning the septum.
In another case, if the septum is not strong and is lifted too much, another cartilage source such as ear cartilage or rib cartilage may be needed.
For more details, please meet with the doctor who performed the surgery and discuss it carefully before making a decision.
I hope you have a good result from the surgery. Thank you.
