Hello. I’m Dr. Kim Hyeong-taek of Kowon Plastic Surgery, pursuing healthy beauty.
Today’s answer note is about whether nostril reduction and nose tip surgery are possible with augmentation-free surgery.

Q. Is it possible to reduce the nostrils and reshape the nose tip with augmentation-free nose surgery?
Hello. I’m a student who has finished the college entrance exam.
I’ve finished the test and am looking into getting nose surgery!
My bridge seems to be high, but the area between the eyebrows seems to have a low bridgeㅠ
My wide nostrils have felt like a complex, and I’ve been stressed about them for quite a while.
I want to have augmentation-free nose surgery without a nose implant like silicone,
but is it only possible to have nostril reduction surgery and nose tip surgery?
Wouldn’t it be more effective if the bridge were done as well?

To answer whether it is possible first: for people who already have a bridge, nose tip reshaping is possible with augmentation-free nose surgery without a nose implant.
At present, the columella area (the central pillar-shaped part located at the front of the nose) appears to be slightly recessed, and the nostrils appear to be somewhat wide.
If the surgery is performed together by slightly raising the nose tip, reducing the nostrils, and slightly projecting the columella,
it seems possible to address the areas the patient wants to improve.
Since this is not a surgery to raise the bridge, the nose tip can be formed naturally and changed into a more refined nose.
For more details, please visit the hospital for a consultation
and check more accurately how much change can be expected.
I hope you get a good result.
Thank you.
