Q. Is there a way to do tip reduction without the nose tip turning up?
My nose tip is thick, the bridge is large, and my nostrils are wide, which worries me.
I’m considering alar reduction and tip reduction, but is there a way to avoid making the nose tip too upturned?

The degree to which the nose tip turns up depends on the angle of the tip. If you are worried that it may become excessively upturned, I recommend, during tip reduction, bringing the tip forward and gathering it toward the center without raising or lowering it. Doing so makes the tip smaller and allows adjustment. However, if the tip is already upturned, it is better to lower it slightly!
