Hello. I am Kim Hyung-taek, the representative director of Kowon Plastic Surgery, pursuing healthy beauty.
This answer note is about someone who had tip rhinoplasty. They were considering revision surgery because the nose line looked unnatural.

Q. Septal tip rhinoplasty, it looks unnatural... feat. nose swelling
I had tip rhinoplasty using the septum about two weeks ago. I did not have any surgery on the bridge, only the tip was operated on.
After surgery, when I looked at my side profile, maybe because only the tip was done, the tip stood out strangely like a bird’s beak.
From the front, it seems a little better as the swelling goes down, but the tip is not lowering...ㅠㅠㅠ
I’m extremely stressed and so worried about this after tip rhinoplasty that I can’t even sleep well.

It seems like a lot of the swelling in my nose has gone down, but if the swelling goes down more from here, could the bridge line become more natural..?? Please take a look and let me knowㅠㅠㅠ
-
Since I only had tip rhinoplasty, the part marked in red looks bent. What should I do? Should I just wait...?
-
If the tip does not lower any further, I will have revision surgery. Does it really have to be done after 6 months??ㅠㅠㅠ

If it has been two weeks since tip rhinoplasty, the major swelling has already gone down.
There is still residual swelling, and the exact nose shape can only be confirmed once all swelling has completely subsided.
So, it is difficult to determine at this point whether it will become a natural shape after the swelling is fully gone.
Whether the line of the part marked in red looks unnatural can also be determined accurately only after the swelling has completely disappeared.
Also, in cases where revision surgery is performed because the tip is relatively high, revision surgery is generally done after 6 months have passed.
If you are very concerned, I recommend discussing it in detail with the doctor who performed the surgery.
I hope for a good result. Thank you.
