Hello. I am Kim Hyung-taek, the CEO surgeon of Kowan Plastic Surgery, specializing in noses.
Today, the person who asked this question was worried that if they used 4 mm silicone even though their nasal bridge is not low, it might look too high.

Q. If my nasal bridge isn't low, is 4 mm silicone okay?
I was 고민 about rhinoplasty and went to a plastic surgery clinic for a consultation.
The doctor said that my nasal bridge is not low, but it is not high either.
He said that although my nasal bridge is not low, my brow bone is well developed, while the area between my eyebrows is sunken, making the bridge look low, and recommended inserting 4 mm silicone to raise it.
But from what I found, isn't 4 mm silicone usually used for people with a low nasal bridge?
If I, who do not have a low nasal bridge, insert 4 mm, won't it become too high and look obvious?

For men, silicone of 3 to 4 mm is generally used.
Since I have not seen the person asking the question, I cannot give a definite answer because I cannot check how prominent the forehead bone around the glabella is, or how low the area between the eyes is compared with the forehead bone.
The height of the silicone can be determined depending on the condition.
As mentioned above, for men, using 3 to 4 mm silicone is common.
If you are very concerned, it would be helpful to check how it looks when 4 mm silicone is inserted through virtual surgery.
I hope you get a good result.
Thank you.
