Front view before / after surgery
Hello.
This is Director Lee Won from 21 Plastic Surgery.
As we get older, the eyes gradually become heavier,
and wrinkles around the eyes and sagging skin become a concern…
At times like this, many women visit our clinic while thinking deeply about
how they can look younger.
For those who have been wondering what methods are best for a naturally youthful transformation,
today I’ll explain the features of brow lift and lower blepharoplasty
along with a recent patient case in detail^^
Natural facial change starts with balance!
Middle-aged women in particular often dislike anything that looks obviously surgical,
so we recommend methods that improve the appearance as naturally as possible
while preserving the original eye shape and impression.

Front / side view before surgery
So for this patient who visited us this time,
a woman in her late 40s,
the main goal during the pre-surgery consultation was to improve the sagging caused by aging
and look naturally younger.
That is why we set the surgical plan as follows^^
Surgical plan
Brow lift + lower blepharoplasty + upper eyelid fat removal

Front / side view after surgery
Three months after surgery,
the sagging above the eyelids had clearly improved with the brow lift,
and the double eyelid crease settled into a natural, defined eye shape^^
With the lower blepharoplasty,
the bulging and hollowing of the under-eye fat were corrected in balance,
did you notice that the expression looks brighter and more lively?
The upper eyelid area was neatly refined thanks to fat removal,
completing a more dimensional eye shape.

Front view before / after surgery
This was possible thanks to a precise, customized surgical plan
that considered the overall balance of the face,
resulting in a naturally younger impression,
which is why the patient’s satisfaction could be high^^
In particular, the areas above and below the eyes age at the same time,
so improving only one area on its own can make the balance look awkward...
That is why refining the upper and lower areas together in a customized way is much more natural,
and is the key method for creating a harmonious youthful face.
Here, I’ve briefly organized the frequently asked questions (FAQ)
from patients who visit our clinic!!!
Q. After brow lift and lower blepharoplasty,
what happens to the scar?
A: The incision is made right below the eyebrow line,
and the scar gradually fades over time
until it becomes inconspicuous^^
Q. How long do swelling and bruising last after surgery?
A: Although it varies by person, in most cases it goes down a lot within 1–2 weeks,
and after that recovery continues naturally.
Good early care can help speed up recovery.
Q. Is it okay to have double eyelid surgery together with brow lift and lower blepharoplasty?
A: Yes, in some cases the three procedures are performed together.
However, it is important to carefully diagnose facial balance and eye shape
and create a customized plan!!!

Side view before / after surgery
As always, customized diagnosis and consultation are important!
Middle-aged eye surgery does not end simply by cutting away skin.
At 21 Plastic Surgery,
we evaluate each patient’s eye shape, skin thickness,
double eyelid crease, overall facial harmony,
and even functional aspects,
then suggest the most suitable method!
If you have any questions, consultation is always available.
My biggest goal is to help restore each patient’s natural beauty.
Thank you^^
