The case introduced this time is a female patient in her mid-20s. Although her face was not especially large, as the angles and center of the contour were not well organized, her impression looked somewhat flat and round.

If we analyze the facial structure before surgery, the cheekbones, square jaw, and chin all appeared emphasized outward to the sides, and rather than a sharp feel, the face had a broad and short image.

Because of this, the facial line was overall soft, but at the same time there was a lack of three-dimensionality and central focus, so a flat and monotonous impression was also present. The important point is that this impression was not caused by face size, but was formed from a structure in which the angles and center of the contour could not connect harmoniously.

So the surgical plan was established as follows.

One month after surgery, although some minor swelling remained, the contour line running from the cheekbones to the lower face was neatly refined.

The facial width felt from the front was naturally reduced, and from the side as well, the lower face did not drop excessively, showing that a stable connecting structure had been created^^ This can be seen as a case that demonstrates how structural refinement influences the impression in facial contouring surgery.
