Implants are not a one-visit treatment

Because implants are carried out in multiple stages,

they generally do not finish in one visit.

Of course, in exceptional cases such as front teeth,

they can sometimes be completed within a few days,

Implant treatment stages and periods

1. Diagnosis and treatment planning

First, X-rays and CT scans are taken

to accurately assess the condition of the mouth.

2. Extraction and waiting, or immediate placement after extraction

Depending on the condition of the gums,

we may wait for the bone to recover after extraction.

3. Disinfection and stitch removal

If you have time, it’s good to visit the next day

for one disinfection treatment.

Generally, you need to come back once after 7–10 days

to have the stitches removed.

After that, while waiting for the bone and implant to bond,

please focus on taking care of your condition.

4. One-month check after surgery

Generally, this is checked about one month later. At this time, the implant values are checked,

and it is decided when to take impressions.

After the check, the second surgery may be performed,

or it may go straight to the impression-taking process.

5. Implant post and prosthesis fabrication

As time passes and the implant bonds firmly with the bone,

impressions are taken so that you can eat normally again.

Total treatment period and number of visits

The number of visits varies by case,

The average treatment period is 2–3 months for the lower jaw

and 4–6 months for the upper jaw,

but depending on the condition of the bone, if you extract the tooth and wait,

then perform implant surgery and wait again,
