Hello~
I am Lee Ju-ri, the chief director of Seoul Bardi Dental Clinic.
Wherever you work in any organization, "communication" is truly important~
Patients also ask us to minimize handoffs during treatment!
Dental treatment is not something I can do alone.
In fact, there is another invisible hand that has a big impact on treatment results...
It is the dental technician.
They are the people who make prosthetics.
Godeok Station Dental Clinic: Prosthetics Are Made Faster. Communication Is Clear!
Please focus for 3 minutes!
Except for same-day restorative treatment at the clinic,
most prosthetics placed in the mouth
are made by dental technicians.
Inlays, crowns, dentures, orthodontic appliances, veneers,
and even implant prosthetics!!

I design them, but... the people who make them are even more expert than I am!
Even if we take impressions and
send them after designing them as carefully as possible,
if communication is not smooth,
problems arise.
The prosthetic may be slightly off.
The color may not match,
the shape may be strange,
or the height may feel uncomfortable when biting.

We also used to request work from an outside dental lab.
But problems came up..
Since it had to go back and forth by delivery,
the prosthetic production period was long
because of the travel time.
Sometimes the requested design details were not reflected the way we wanted.
No matter how many photos we sent,
the tooth color seen in natural light could still be slightly off.
So we set up an in-house dental lab
and hired two technicians.
These are the staff who make our hospital's prosthetics!! Caught in the act while working~~
At the Godeok Station dental clinic, there is a dental lab inside the clinic~
With two prosthetic technicians on site,
we communicate in real time!!
The details created by real-time communication
Because we communicate directly in the clinic,
this is what I like about it.
For example...
We can immediately reflect patient needs.
"Doctor, could you make this part a little rounder?"
"Please make the tone of the patient's front teeth look a little more natural."
The technicians see it and make it themselves,
and quick feedback is possible.
Because we have equipment that allows us to make it directly,
immediate adjustments are also possible.
We can fix it right away!
After trying this system for a few months...
in the end, it gives patients better results.
It even saves time until the next appointment,
and we can significantly reduce return visits.
Most patients want to have their prosthetics placed quickly
after a long course of treatment~
By reducing the time needed to send work to an outside dental lab
and making it in-house immediately after taking impressions,
completion time is shorter,
and if adjustments are needed, they can be made on the spot,
so there is less need for patients to come back~
A prosthetic being made..
Seeing the process being made at any time also helped me
understand prosthetics much more deeply.
To make sure each and every patient's treatment
is completed more comfortably, lasts longer, and looks more natural,
we promise care that does not miss even the small details of communication.
"I only got a crown, so why does it feel this comfortable?"
"The tooth color is so natural it really looks like my own teeth!"
We want comments like these to keep coming!!
Going forward, the Godeok Station dental clinic will continue to make use of the advantages of our in-house dental lab
to provide patients with more honest and more satisfying results 😊
Thank you!
