Hello! This is KOKOLINE.
Today, I’d like to talk about something many people wonder about before surgery: nasal bridge height.
When reading rhinoplasty reviews or looking for information, you’ve probably often seen phrases like
“Raised the nasal bridge by 3 mm” or “Raised the nasal bridge by 4 mm.”
Many people also think that, on average, the nasal bridge is raised by 3 to 4 mm during surgery.
But that is truly only an average!!
So then, what height (mm) of implant is right for your nasal bridge?
Let’s take a look together with KOKOLINE.

On KOKOLINE Clinic’s consultation board,
there are quite a few people asking, “Would 3 mm or 4 mm for the nasal bridge suit my nose?”
Even during consultations, some people want to know exactly how many mm will be used for the nasal bridge before they go in!
Usually, when you receive a consultation, they will tell you that the nasal bridge will be raised by 3 mm.
The tip of the nose will be raised by 4 mm.

However, because everyone has a different nasal bridge height
and different facial features,
the height of the implant (the mm of the nasal bridge) used can only differ.
Even if person A gets a 3 mm nasal bridge augmentation and that is enough height for them,
if your own bridge is very low, you may need to raise it by 4 to 5 mm or more instead of 3 mm.
Since implants are selected to rise within a natural range while considering the overall facial features of the person undergoing surgery,
other people’s rhinoplasty mm measurements are not very important.

That’s because the result can be very different between someone with a very low nasal bridge who raises it by 5 mm
and someone who already has a fairly high nasal bridge and raises it by 2 mm!
When talking about the average height,
3 to 4 mm is mentioned,
but that does not apply to everyone who undergoes nose surgery,
so please keep that in mind.
This was KOKOLINE Clinic’s explanation of nasal bridge height!
I hope this information is helpful for those preparing for surgery ^^
