This custom tray is necessary so that the later impression-taking can be done accurately.

Using the custom tray, we take very careful impressions of the gums, palate, and soft mucosa.

Plaster is then poured over it to create an actual model,

and this model becomes the foundation for denture fabrication.

If this step is done poorly, discomfort such as “looseness” or “food getting stuck” can easily occur.

That is why, even if it takes time, doing it carefully is the key.
