Precautions for Teeth Whitening

After teeth whitening, eating or drinking anything other than water is not allowed for 2 hours, and for about two days, it is best to avoid colored foods and drinks as much as possible (coffee, tea, curry, etc.).

To help prevent possible side effects from whitening, a dental examination before whitening is essential.

Because a light-exposure device is used during the whitening process, teeth whitening is a treatment that takes a considerable amount of time! At our clinic, whitening treatment is available only if you visit by 5:00 p.m. on weekdays (5:30 p.m. for the one-day two-session option), and by 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays! (Advance reservation required because the high-end whitening devices are limited.)
