• Teeth whitening is a treatment on which VAT is legally applied, just like treatment at plastic surgery or dermatology clinics.

Whitening requires a lot of time, including examination time, gum protector application time, application of the agent, and light exposure time, so reservations are required. Some places advertise teeth whitening as a single session, but that is only a bait product for other treatments. For one-day whitening, you need to go up to one-day 2 sessions or one-day 3 sessions before you can feel a visible effect. Most whitening product manufacturers recommend 3 sessions, and most dental clinics these days also use one-day 3 sessions as the standard. (One-day 3 sessions: the whitening cycle runs 3 times in one day)

Teeth whitening takes a lot of time. When receiving teeth whitening at our Yonsei Yegam Dental Clinic, we recommend setting aside about 2 hours.

The precautions you should follow after whitening are: It is best to avoid eating or drinking anything other than water for at least 2 hours.

For maintenance, it is also good to use whitening toothpaste, and it is also helpful to do additional at-home whitening! (It takes about 3 days to make the at-home whitening tray!)
