As the strength of the masseter weakens,

the strength of the temporal muscle, another chewing muscle, may be used relatively more during meals, causing it to become more developed.

1. Examination fees: For treatment purposes involving teeth grinding, the temporomandibular joint, teeth clenching, migraines, and other conditions,

an examination including a temporomandibular joint X-ray is performed before treatment, and an examination fee is added. The examination is processed through National Health Insurance.

There is no separate VAT for treatment purposes.

If Botox is administered for cosmetic purposes, there is no separate examination fee. However, as with dermatology or plastic surgery services, a legally required 10% VAT is added to the Botox fee.
