to my own family members.

The importance of material differences between PDO and PLLA

The types of threads used for lifting

are very diverse on the market.

The most widely used threads in general

are mostly dissolvable threads made from

an approved medical material called PDO.

This ingredient has fairly decent effects,

but it is relatively firm and stiff in texture,

and it tends to have a deep color such as purple.

Because of that, for people with thin skin,

if the procedure is performed even slightly too shallow,

the thread’s color may show through bluish on the surface,

or the ends may be felt, which can cause side effects.

In addition, when making facial expressions or talking,

a strange feeling, as if the skin is being artificially pulled,

in the body after roughly 6 months.

However, PLLA used in Silhouette Soft

breaks down much more slowly,

so the lifting effect can be maintained

for up to around 1 year and 6 months to 2 years.

That is not the end of it.

It is not simply a temporary physical procedure

that pulls the skin tissue and then returns to its original state

after some time passes.

While the thread remains in the skin for a long period,

it continuously stimulates the surrounding fibroblasts,

strongly inducing your own self-collagen production.

Even after the thread is completely absorbed by the body,

the newly and densely formed collagen network

strongly supports elasticity,

so excellent results can be expected

from a long-term anti-aging perspective.

For this reason, people who receive steady maintenance

are able to keep a much firmer skin environment

than others their age, even as time passes.

The most important key is a customized design!

No matter how excellent or expensive the material is,

the most important factor that determines the result

is the surgeon’s precise design and technique.

From skin thickness to the amount of subcutaneous fat,

the direction of muscle movement,

and the pattern of sagging, every patient is different.

That is why a uniform pulling approach is not enough;

thorough individual analysis must come first.

a special dedicated tool officially provided by

This tool is broadly divided into two modes

and can be applied according to the patient’s condition.

The first is the 'mild' version.

It is a method that provides gentle lifting

The second is the 'moderate' version.

in middle age or older, where tissue sagging

is clearly noticeable and wrinkles are deeper.

By actively using such specialized tools,

the exact target points where the thread will enter

and the direction of the vectors to be lifted

are calculated in detail down to the millimeter.

Half of the thread firmly holds the sagging tissue

A review after directly performing the procedure on family members

As a simple example of how safe this procedure is

I would like to share my wife’s and mother’s experiences

with you as well.

In fact, I personally designed the treatment

and performed Silhouette Soft on my wife, Dr. Lee Hyeon-ji,

and on my mother.

In my wife’s case, since she is still relatively young,

the nasolabial folds were not deeply etched.

However, she wanted to prevent and correct the slight collapse

of the lower-face jawline

Accordingly, I used only four threads in total,

two on each side of the face,

and the recovery was so fast that she was able

to meet acquaintances right away.

The fact that I can recommend this to my own family

In any case, because procedures have their limits,

they cannot fully match the dramatic effect of surgery

that physically cuts away the skin.

However, the lack of incision scars

and the fact that you do not need to endure

months of recovery also make it highly cost-effective and efficient.

Even if you have only about 1–2 weeks before

a wedding or an important family event,

it can be received safely and without burden.

Also, if you want to further increase satisfaction
