Firming the deeper SMAS layer of the skin

LinearZ, which can help address the concerns described above, is a device that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to help improve skin elasticity.

Without damaging the skin’s surface, it delivers thermal energy deep into the skin, reaching the SMAS layer, the deeper fascial layer.

High-intensity ultrasound energy reduces stimulation to the skin’s surface and accumulates heat only at the depth of the treatment target.

The temperature of the thermal coagulation zone reaches 60°C to 65°C, inducing contraction and regeneration of the skin tissue.

Through the thermal action of powerful high-intensity ultrasound, skin tissue is coagulated densely, and as it undergoes contraction, a firming and lifting effect can be expected.

These are the conventional “Dot Mode,” which delivers energy in dot-shaped points, and “Linear Mode,” which delivers energy broadly and evenly in lines.

In the basic Dot Mode, thermal coagulation zones in tiny dot shapes are formed beneath the skin at regular intervals, making it effective for targeting fat cells located at a specific depth.

It is therefore applied with great precision to areas requiring appropriate contour reduction, such as fat accumulated beneath the chin or sagging lower cheek fat.

By contrast, Linear Mode delivers energy in closely spaced lines, distributing it very evenly without leaving gaps.

It also enables gentle heat transfer, and may provide satisfactory results for improving elasticity in areas with thin skin, such as around the eyes or mouth.

One-touch adjustment across multiple depths and prevention of cheek hollowing

Older lifting devices delivered shots one at a time, so small spaces or tiny gaps inevitably occurred between the dots.

However, when this innovative Linear Mode, which uses a linear delivery method, is applied, the spacing between dots is 0 mm, allowing energy to fill the area densely without gaps.

Because powerful thermal energy is delivered evenly and uniformly across the designated skin area, as though being applied over the surface, it may help improve the precision of the treatment.

At the same time, the device is equipped with a self-detection sensor function that prevents energy from overlapping and being delivered abnormally, designed to help reduce the possibility of side effects.

By preventing unnecessary repeated delivery, it aims to further reduce concerns about possible skin damage, burns, and other side effects.

Most notably, the ability to precisely adjust multiple target depths with a single cartridge is also an impressive technical feature.

With other devices previously used, the cartridge had to be inconveniently replaced during treatment to adjust the target depth at which energy was delivered.

However, thanks to this device’s unique multiple-depth adjustment system, it can be controlled very simply with a convenient one-touch operation.

Without replacing the cartridge each time, the desired thermal energy can be delivered from the key target layers of the skin— starting with the “superficial dermis,” through the “subcutaneous fat layer,” and down to the deepest “SMAS fascial layer.”
