Nose filler is a non-surgical procedure that simply raises the bridge or tip of the nose,

However, its limitations are clear.

❌ Only for slightly correcting the shape of the bridge or tip ❌ Cannot improve structural issues such as a hump nose, bulbous nose, or arrow-shaped nose ❌ Filler itself adds volume → the nose may look even broader ❌ Over time, it may be absorbed or spread out, causing the shape to become distorted

The Reality of Nose Thread Lifting

Recently, PDO thread lifting, known as nose thread lifting,

has also been receiving a lot of attention.

It is a method that lifts the tip of the nose using threads.

However, this too has limited and temporary effects.

• Rather than supporting collapsed cartilage, it is a concept of temporarily pulling the skin layer upward • As the threads dissolve, they tend to gradually return to the original state • Depending on the thread placement, there is also a risk of uneven skin texture • In some cases, it can stimulate only the dermal layer and make the nose tip appear thicker

Why ear cartilage?

Because it is your own cartilage, it causes less foreign-body sensation, maintains its shape with good elasticity,

and since it is your own tissue, there is less concern about side effects or discomfort from a foreign material.

1. Refine the protruding hump
2. Transplant ear cartilage to the nose tip to adjust shape and height
3. If it is a bulbous nose, tie or refine the cartilage to create a slimmer impression
4. If necessary, insert silicone or Gore-Tex into the bridge to complete the line

If you simply want to raise the bridge a little, nose filler can be a good choice.

But if you want to improve the nose tip, bridge, and structural issues as well,

a surgical method—especially nose surgery using ear cartilage—is much more effective.
