Possibility of absorption	Transplanted autologous tissue (especially dermis) may be partially absorbed over time. The absorption rate is designed for in advance, but the height may end up lower than planned.
Limits to increasing height	There may be limitations in creating a dramatic increase in height comparable to artificial implants. It may be somewhat insufficient for those who want a very high nasal bridge.
