I underwent under-eye fat repositioning + outer and lower corner eye surgery with Director Lee Joo-hong at DM Plastic Surgery.

While looking into under-eye procedures, I was really drawn to the term "bbang trim," so I thought I might as well do it together. When I went in for a consultation, he gave me honest and firm guidance, which made me trust him. Under-eye fat grafting seemed fine too, but he said there was no need to do it right now and to think about it later. He also said he would avoid doing anything excessive and would keep it natural, that swelling and bruising were unavoidable, that conjunctival swelling would occur, to do cold compresses well at the beginning, and to avoid sunlight if I wanted to leave as little scarring as possible. I liked his clean and straightforward consultation style.

On the day of surgery, he said, "This is the easiest procedure among the surgeries I do," and finished the under-eye fat repositioning + bbang trim in just 30 minutes. Contrary to what I had worried about, there was almost no swelling, bruising, or conjunctival swelling, and the surgery turned out neatly and well. He also arranged the stitches as neatly as possible so they wouldn't stand out, so I just looked like someone who had poorly applied eyeliner. Since I wore a hat when going out, it wasn't noticeable.

I worked hard on aftercare, including cold compresses. On days 3 to 4, there was definitely some swelling, but it got better quickly with diligent cold compresses. The slight conjunctival swelling also went down after the stitches were removed.
