Many people ask whether they can smoke after surgery.

When I tell them they should not, they then ask whether e-cigarettes are okay😰

People often think smoking is prohibited because of the smell or ingredients unique to regular cigarettes,

but all cigarettes, including e-cigarettes, contain a lot of nicotine.

When nicotine enters our body, it causes the tiny blood vessels to constrict.

For the surgical area to heal well and recover, smooth blood circulation is necessary.

But what happens if the blood vessels constrict and blood does not circulate well?

Not only does the wound heal poorly,

but the likelihood of inflammation also increases significantly. Therefore, for a safe and quick recovery, you must refrain from smoking all types of cigarettes,

including e-cigarettes! 🚫
