▶️ Surgery Review

It has already been a month and a week since my surgery,

and as you can see in the photos, there is no bruising at all.

The remaining swelling has also completely gone down, so I can go about my daily life normally.

It feels like just yesterday that I was lying on the operating table feeling nervous,

but time has already flown by.

Fortunately, I have not experienced any of the side effects I was worried about at the time—an eye smile, a D-shaped appearance, reattachment, severe bruising, eye issues,

excessive widening, dry eyes, and so on—which I am very happy about.

I was especially worried about reattachment and dry eyes.

My eyes were very dry on the day of surgery, but they are not dry at all now.

Most of all, my eyes already looked more open even before applying makeup after the surgery,

but they looked even more open after I put on makeup, so I was very satisfied because it felt like I had escaped from having narrow-looking eyes.

My boyfriend also said that my eyes looked naturally but beautifully larger,

and he was happy for me too, which made me even more satisfied.

▶️ One-Month Follow-Up Consultation

I was told that important scar care would begin one month after surgery.

There is a small reddish scar and some swelling in one eye,

but I was told that they would gradually improve. (Honestly, all my eyes look the same to me 🙄)

❗ The most important part of scar care is to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight ❗

Since prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause scar discoloration,

I was advised to apply sunscreen and wear makeup when going outside. (Makeup is such a hassle 😮)

Since one month has passed, I was told that I can now get an eyelash lift, wear makeup and contact lenses, take baths, work out,

drink alcohol, smoke, and so on.

So I am planning to visit my family home to finally get the eyelash lift I kept putting off and putting off haha ㅎ3ㅎ

I have had eye surgery a few times, but I think the posterior and lower canthoplasty made the biggest difference.

Having the stitches removed was beyond anything I could have imagined, but if I were born with narrow-looking eyes again in my next life, I think I would do it one more time lolㅋㅋㅋㅋ
