I wanted to make my eyes look more open and less stuffy,

and I wanted them opened up to the extent they would look with makeup.

I was concerned because other clinics charged additional fees,

but at DM Plastic Surgery Clinic, the doctor’s surgical approach and consultation

felt professional, and the reasonable pricing made me think this was the place for me.

Since the lateral canthoplasty was performed using an incision, I expected more swelling and pain than with a non-incisional procedure, but it was not as severe as I had anticipated!

I did develop a little conjunctival edema, but I was told that this can vary from person to person.

I took good care of it with the prescribed ointment and eye drops, and by the one-week mark, it was barely noticeable.

This is my 10-day review after receiving lateral and lower canthoplasty from Dr. Lee Juhong at DM Plastic Surgery Clinic! (The photo was taken on day 7!)

First of all, I have drooping-looking eyes, so I did not want an excessive lower canthoplasty. I wanted the outer corners opened clearly, but I had heard that a non-incisional procedure could be more likely to revert over time.

So I chose lateral and lower canthoplasty, which opens the eyes noticeably without looking excessive.

At first, I had difficulty opening my eyes, similar to when I had LASEK, so I wondered, “Did something go wrong...?”

But as I watched the swelling decrease and my eyes settle more each day, I’m increasingly convinced that I made the right choice!

The incision along the corner of the eye was made very subtly, following the eye-corner line.

I was a little self-conscious while I had the stitches in for a week, but after they were removed, I went to work without makeup and it seemed like no one noticed anything!

The doctor was very gentle, and the other staff members were beautiful, kind, and wonderful as well. The best! ♥
