DM Posterior & Lower Canthoplasty Surgery Review,
“My small, narrow eyes improved so much,
and I’m extremely satisfied!”

★★★★★ / Eye-Opening (Posterior & Lower Canthoplasty) / Dr. Lee Joo-hong
• Concerns Before the Procedure
-
Small, narrow eyes
-
Upturned outer corners of the eyes
-
Sufficient distance to the orbital bone (possible eligibility for posterior canthoplasty and a potentially significant effect)
-
I already had severe dry eye symptoms (no noticeable surgical side effects)
• Consultation Experience
There were several reasons why I chose DM Plastic Surgery after consulting with several clinics.
First of all, they eased my concerns about the recovery period and scarring,
and the atmosphere at the clinic was comfortable as well.
I liked the considerate atmosphere toward clients,
and I felt that I would be in good hands at this clinic.
Of course, seeing the reviews and actual surgical photos
also naturally gave me confidence in the doctor’s skills.
They did not pressure me to undergo any additional procedures,
and only consulted with me about the surgery I wanted.
I was also grateful that they accommodated my schedule as much as possible.
• Results
The sutures were arranged to look like eyeliner, so they are not very noticeable.
I happened to have quite a few reasons to go out,
and when I met people wearing a hat, they said they thought I had simply applied eyeliner (Day 1)!
It hurt from Days 1 to 3...ㅠ
I developed chemosis (I had been informed beforehand that this was possible,
and that it was caused by the sutures), so I frequently applied cold compresses.
By around Day 3, the swelling had gone down considerably and the pain had decreased as well.
There was no major inconvenience with using a monitor or carrying out my work.
From Day 4, I was able to return to my normal routine without additional cold compresses!
My eyes watered a little (as I had been informed beforehand),
and since my skin is rather sensitive, the sutures rubbed against it
and caused a little irritation around my eyes,,,
As soon as I had the sutures removed on Day 7,
the wounds around my eyes were almost healed!!
• Additional Comments
My small, narrow eyes, which had been a complex for me, improved so much,
so I was extremely satisfied even before the sutures were removed, once the swelling had gone down!
I had also been told that there could be some asymmetry,
but I have not noticed any at all.
As of Day 7, I can feel that my eyes have become subtly larger
without it being very obvious that I had surgery.
Other than some slight remaining redness, no one would know that I had surgery at all!!!
This is a seven-day review from a client who underwent Eye-Opening (Posterior & Lower Canthoplasty) at DM Plastic Surgery.
The client visited the clinic to improve the upturned outer corners of the eyes and the closed-off appearance of the eye shape
into a slightly more gentle and open-looking eye shape,
and you can see in the photos how the horizontal length of the eyes was naturally adjusted,
creating a more open-looking appearance.
Although eye surgery may appear to be a relatively simple procedure,
it requires aesthetic judgment and technical expertise.
Therefore, the surgery should be performed after a one-on-one consultation with a medical professional specializing in eye surgery who has extensive surgical experience.
DM Plastic Surgery provides customized one-on-one procedures,
with a focus on harmony between each client’s face and facial features.
