Hello 😊
This is Yesmire Dental in Godeok.
One of the things patients worry about most before dental treatment is anesthesia.
To reduce discomfort for patients
and ease the burden of the anesthesia process before treatment, we have introduced and are operating various anesthesia devices.
Today, we’d like to introduce five anesthesia-related devices currently used at our clinic.
All devices are used to improve treatment convenience and ensure accurate application,
and are applied when necessary according to the patient’s condition and the medical staff’s judgment.

😌 Yesmire Dental’s 5-Step Anesthesia System
① Osstem Painless Anesthesia Device 💉
This device automatically controls injection speed and pressure,
helping reduce the sensation felt when the needle goes in.
It can be applied even for patients who are especially sensitive to anesthesia.

② QS5 (Quick Sleeper 5) 🌀
This is an electronic intraosseous anesthesia device that can inject medication into the nerves around the bone.
It is used when anesthesia is needed in areas that are difficult to access with standard anesthesia or in deeper areas.
Since it can be selectively applied to local areas, it is used when controlling the anesthesia range is necessary.
※ Whether this device is used is determined according to the treatment area and the patient’s condition.

③ Ampoule Warmer 🌡️
Because anesthetics are generally stored at temperatures lower than body temperature,
using them as is may create a cold sensation and a foreign-body feeling during injection.
The ampoule warmer is used to warm the anesthetic to a temperature similar to body temperature,
helping reduce the foreign-body sensation and sensory stimulation during injection.

④ Gargle Anesthesia (Lidoca-gargle) 🫧
This is a local anesthetic gargle applied to the oral mucosa before anesthesia injection.
It is used as a supportive step to reduce the burden of anesthesia.
It is used to temporarily dull sensation in a local area through gargling before the needle touches the area.
When the burden of anesthesia is significant, it may be used at the medical staff’s discretion,
and it is not applied equally to all patients.

- Conscious Sedation (Sleep Sedation Therapy)😴
This is a method in which sedatives are administered to reduce the patient’s tension and anxiety while treatment is performed with the patient remaining conscious.
At Yesmire Dental, sedation therapy is applied when necessary according to the medical staff’s judgment,
and is carried out after sufficient explanation and consent before treatment.
👉 Conscious sedation involves many details to explain, including application methods, candidates, and precautions,
so we plan to introduce it in detail in the next post.
👩⚕️ Anesthesia is applied with the patient’s condition in mind
At Yesmire Dental, the medical staff provides a prior explanation for all anesthesia processes,
then determines whether to apply them by considering the patient’s condition and sensitivity.
-
Before anesthesia, the patient’s condition and treatment scope are checked
-
If necessary, step-by-step devices are used
-
After anesthesia, the treatment speed and method are adjusted according to the response
All anesthesia devices are a means of assisting treatment, and whether they are used is determined through the director’s diagnosis and consultation.
For those who have been highly concerned about anesthesia before dental treatment,
we provide sufficient guidance on the devices and process that can be applied,
and we are thinking and working hard
so that your treatment experience can be smoother.
Please feel free to ask any questions through a consultation at any time.
