the Sonic scaler and, when needed, gargle anesthesia (Lidocaggle).

🌀 What is a Sonic scaler?

It is a device with gentler vibrations than a conventional ultrasonic scaler.

It removes tartar using sonic vibrations and may help reduce sensitivity and discomfort.

Because the pressure transmitted to the hand during treatment is low, even people with sensitive gums may feel less burden. It can also help remove hard tartar with relatively less stimulation, which is useful during treatment.

🫧 Gargle anesthesia (Lidocaggle)

This is a local anesthetic gargle applied inside the mouth before scaling.

Without using an anesthetic injection, it may be used at the medical staff’s discretion to help reduce the burden for people with sensitive gums or teeth.

By temporarily easing sensation in the gum area, it helps reduce the sensitivity or stimulation that may be felt at the beginning of scaling.
