In septum reinforcement, the septum refers to the membrane surrounding the fat.

below the tear trough ligament,

this is called septum reinforcement.

Methods that break the septum and only reposition the fat,

or methods that remove the fat and graft it,

cannot achieve septum reinforcement.

To perform septum reinforcement, the surgery must preserve the entire septum

and reposition the septum together with the fat.

Only then can septum reinforcement be achieved.

Can revision surgery be done with lower eyelid fat repositioning after recurrence following lower blepharoplasty?

Many people also wonder whether revision surgery with lower eyelid fat repositioning is possible

if recurrence occurs after lower blepharoplasty.

It is important to carefully check what method was used during the original lower blepharoplasty

and which part is being felt as a recurrence.

If the under-eye area is still bulging and the tear trough has not been resolved, it may be addressed with lower eyelid fat repositioning.

However, if the issue is simply that a hollow area appeared after fat removal,
