Today, we would like to share the 3-month progress of a patient who underwent revision incisional eyelid correction together with lowering of the crease.

Before surgery, the thick double-eyelid crease made the eyes appear somewhat heavy, and asymmetry between the two eyes could also be observed.

In addition, the pupils were partially covered, creating a sleepy-looking impression.

In such cases, it is important to plan revision surgery by considering not only the height of the double-eyelid crease, but also the shape of the existing crease, the condition of any adhesions, and the balance between the two eyes.

Through revision incisional surgery, the patient's existing high and thick crease was adjusted to a more natural height. Eyelid correction was also performed to improve the strength of eyelid opening.

Three months after surgery, the thick double-eyelid crease that had been covering the pupils has settled into a more natural appearance, improving the previously heavy-looking impression. In addition, the strength of eyelid opening was improved, resulting in a clearer and more open-looking appearance than before. The asymmetry between the two eyes was also improved.
