Before surgery, the patient did not have a visible double-eyelid crease,

and the difference in the shape of the left and right eyes

made the asymmetry

The Mongolian folds covered the inner corners of the eyes,

creating a somewhat closed-off appearance, while the overall eye shape

looked rather flat.

The patient wanted eyes that looked natural yet defined,

rather than an overly dramatic change.

After surgery,

we created a low inline crease

to meet the patient's needs,

adding definition to the eyes

without creating a drastically different appearance,

resulting in a natural-looking improvement.

In addition, with epicanthoplasty performed at the same time,

the inner corners that had been covered by the Mongolian folds

were revealed more naturally,

creating a more open and refreshed appearance.
