Before surgery, the patient's double eyelid line was concealed by the eyelid and was not clearly visible when the eyes were open.

There was also asymmetry between the two eyes, with differences in the double eyelid lines and eye sizes on each side.

For male double eyelid surgery, it is important to fully understand the individual's eye structure rather than simply creating a double eyelid.

Men may have thicker skin or more fat around the eyes than women. If the line is made too high or too prominent, it may not suit the patient and can create an artificial appearance.

Taking the patient's eye structure, left-right balance, and overall facial impression into consideration, the surgery was performed with the goal of creating a natural line and clear-looking eyes without an excessive or burdensome appearance.

After 1 month, the natural double eyelid line had settled, becoming more clearly visible than before when the eyes were open.

The eyes appeared cleaner and more open-looking overall.

Rather than creating an excessively prominent line, the goal was to maintain the patient's existing masculine appearance while achieving a natural change.

The asymmetry had also improved compared with before, resulting in better overall balance.
