Yaksu Station Barun Young Dental Clinic: First Experience Review as a MEDICOM Ambassador Clinic, 4th Cohort

Hello.

I’m Kim Tae-young, director of Barun Young Dental Clinic near Yaksu Station.^^

I tend to take an interest in new materials and products whenever they are released.

This time, Barun Young Dental Clinic was selected for the 4th MEDICOM Ambassador Clinic cohort, giving us the opportunity to try a variety of products.

MEDICOM Korea is a global infection-control company with more than 37 years of expertise in the field. It supplies a variety of infection-control products and medical consumables to healthcare institutions around the world.

Among them, I would like to introduce the products I was particularly interested in using this time.

SecondSkin Latex Gloves

The SecondSkin Gloves were one of the most impressive products I tried this time.

Since gloves are worn several times a day, comfort is important.

As the name suggests, SecondSkin Gloves felt as though they fit naturally and closely around my hands. In particular, their good elasticity comfortably followed the movements of my hands, so they felt less restrictive during treatment.

Some products may look similar from the outside, but you can feel the difference when you actually wear them. SecondSkin Gloves were one of those products.

They are one of the materials we use most frequently each day.

For infection control, gloves need to have good durability and resist tearing.

Their moderate thickness caused no discomfort during treatment and allowed for free movement.

In addition, MEDICOM also provides hand sanitizer for preventing cross-contamination.

It seems accurate to say that MEDICOM is there with us from before treatment begins through its completion.^^

Safe Matrix Band

The product I was most interested in using among the trial products was the Safe Matrix Band.

I believe that ease of use and adaptability are important when using a matrix band for restorative treatment.

The Safe Matrix Band is a Ready-to-Use type that can be used immediately without separate assembly, making the preparation process simple.

It was also easy to place where desired, and I liked the way it adapted securely to the tooth.

These may seem like small differences, but I had a positive impression because this kind of convenience helped make the treatment process smoother.

This is a photo of it attached to the treatment area.

It is a useful device for rebuilding the wall of a tooth affected by caries on the adjacent surface.

It is also easy to use and helps patients keep their mouths open a little less.

SecondSkin Gloves provided a comfortable fit during the infection-control process before treatment,

while the Safe Matrix Band left a positive impression as a product that

improves convenience during the actual restorative treatment process.

Through this MEDICOM Ambassador activity, I had a valuable opportunity to use and compare a variety of products firsthand.

In particular, SecondSkin Gloves and the Safe Matrix Band were products that made a positive impression during actual treatment.

Going forward, I will continue experiencing a variety of products through my ambassador activities and regularly share my observations from the dental office.
