Although the patient previously underwent canthoplasty and under-eye corner surgery at another clinic,

 the effect was minimal and the condition recurred, so we performed under-eye corner revision surgery at our clinic.

Looking at under-eye corner surgery performed at other clinics,

there are many cases where only severe scar contracture remains on the inner side of the eye,

and the under-eye corner effect is absent or has loosened.

In such cases, the ineffective scar contracture must be carefully released,

so that when performing under-eye corner revision surgery, the desired under-eye corner effect can be achieved without any special problems.

 

What is important in under-eye corner revision surgery is

skill and extensive experience with under-eye corner procedures,

which are essential for carefully releasing the severe scar contracture remaining after the previous under-eye corner surgery.

​After the under-eye corner revision surgery, the effect is clearly visible, and the area under the eyes is not bent into a V-shape due to excessive under-eye corner correction.
