A Trip to Sokcho~

Hello~ This is Noss!!

To ring in 2019, I went to Sokcho with my family~

I ended up going with my cousins, and I really had so much fun!

(An uncultured country bumpkin who had never been to Sokcho even once...) How did it know I was going out to have fun? Even the weather was great!! The mood was the best!!!

We went grocery shopping at E-Mart and then set off for Sokcho~ Since we shopped for groceries too, we left at 5 o'clockㅠㅠ........

Still, with excited hearts, let’s go let’s go let’s go~~~~~

The highlight of the highway is the rest stop, right~~~~?

Since we had to eat a lot of delicious food in Sokcho, we decided to keep it simple!

The smell of deluxe manjoo hit us as soon as we arrived!!

They say rest stops are for walnut pastries, but... I don’t like red bean paste, so... I chose deluxe manjoo!

I also tried the famous so-tteok-so-tteok for the first time, but maybe because I expected too much... it was more disappointing than I thoughtㅠㅠ...

The thing next to the so-tteok-so-tteok was dumplings~!! It was a food I had never seen before, so I bought it, and it was a great success~~!!

After eating a light snack like this, we set off again~~~~~~~

When people go to Sokcho, sashimi and snow crab are famous,

but I heard dakgangjeong is famous too!

 

The dakgangjeong shop closed at 8, so time was tight and we kept driving fast before barely making it thereㅠㅠ..

When we arrived, what do you know........ the wait was no jokeᅲᅲ...

It feels like we would have had plenty of time even if we came more leisurely....

Since we came to Manseok Dakgangjeong, we couldn’t not take a photo, right?

Proof that I came here ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ

We waited about 30 minutes and packed 2 boxes!

I wanted to pack the spicy flavor too, but they said we’d have to wait longer, so we went with the medium flavor...

Right across from Manseok Dakgangjeong, there was the Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market, so we decided to stop by!

The fish market is downstairs,

but since I’m not very good at turning down aggressive sales pitches, I came back up quickly.

The seed hotteok that was also featured on 1 Night 2 Days!!

The inside was packed with seeds!

There was a wait here tooㅠㅠ It felt like every food place had a line~

The milk ice cream caught my eye with its dazzling appearance~

Can you believe that even the colorful part you see there is ice cream?

It was just as delicious as it was flashy!!

We spotted fried snow crab while walking by!

At first glance, it looked plump and full of meat,

but after trying it, it didn’t seem to have that much meat!!

Since I was worried that if we kept eating, we wouldn’t be able to grill meat at the lodging,

we stopped sightseeing and went back to the accommodation!

We got back to the lodging around 10 o’clockㅠㅠ The owner said it would be hard to use the outdoor barbecue area because we were late...

I had wanted charcoal fire!!!!!!!!!!!

In the end, we used an electric grill in the indoor barbecue area..

After unpacking all our luggage at the lodging, we came down and got ready to set everything up!

Meat is beef, of course, right?

We bought two cuts: rib meat and seolgit!

Everyone, you have to try seolgit!!! Highly recommended!!

And of course, soju can’t be left out~~~

I really think I ate until I was about to burstㅠㅠ

All I can think about is going back to that time.....

When you’re out traveling, go-stop is also a must, right?

I’m the no-tajja right here

We really are family after all........

Even our sitting posture is the sameㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I can’t quite capture the real-life look of the Manseok Dakgangjeong we bought earlier in the photoㅠㅠ..... It was delicious even when it had cooled down~ As expected, chicken is always right, whether hot or coldㅎㅎ

Since we were full, we went for a walk by the sea right in front of the lodging!!!!

Of course, fireworks couldn’t be left out!

It had been years since I last did fireworks, so I was really excited!!

Even though the weather was very cold,

we were determined to get a photo all together, so we managed to capture one ㅎㅎㅎ

The cousins who didn’t come with us will definitely regret it!!!!!!!!

Because it was so much fun ᄒᄒᄒᄒᄒᄒ

Next time, I hope we can come again with the family members who couldn’t join us this time~~
