Eyelid correction surgery is a little different from double eyelid surgery. If double eyelid surgery is a procedure that defines a crease line on the skin, eyelid correction surgery is a procedure that strengthens the levator palpebrae superioris, the muscle that opens the eyes, in a deeper area than the adhesion of the double eyelid. #PtosisCorrection or #DroopyEyeCorrection is what eyelid correction surgery is for.

In clinical practice, ptosis surgery and eyelid correction surgery are often used with similar meanings. However, there are cases where ptosis surgery is performed again. #PtosisReoperation is similar to the reason for revision double eyelid surgery: it is mainly done when the strength of eye opening differs between the two sides after the first surgery, or when the previously clear eyelid appearance loosens again over time, leading to reoperation.

For ptosis reoperation, or #EyelidCorrectionReoperation, doctors usually recommend waiting until after 6 months, when the wound and tissue have stabilized. However, if the stress caused by uneven, asymmetrical eyes is severe, or if the tissue has already stabilized quite well even though 6 months have not yet passed, early reoperation is also possible.
In particular, if the difference between the two sides is too large within 1 week after surgery, it is better to perform ptosis rapid correction as soon as possible, before tissue adhesion becomes severe, because earlier correction leads to better results.

As with all eye surgeries, if asymmetry remains even after appropriate correction, or if the amount of eyelid correction is judged to be insufficient and reoperation is needed, I think the way to achieve a more beautiful eyelid appearance is to consult closely with a plastic surgery specialist and correct it quickly.
