There are cases where eyelid eversion occurs after upper eyelid surgery or double eyelid surgery.
#EyelidEversion means the eyelid plate is pulled up, causing the eyelashes to lift excessively and the skin inside the grey line to turn outward and become visible.
Because the white part of the eye, the conjunctiva, becomes more exposed, other people may say, “Your eyes look wide and glaring.”
This is the #mucosalShow #eyelashElevation phenomenon.
Also, when eyelid eversion is present, a tiny gap forms between the eyelid plate and the eyeball, which can cause stinging eyes or dry-eye discomfort.
Eyelid eversion
The eyes look glaring, and the patient also complains that the eyes feel uncomfortable.

The previous double eyelid surgery was already a revision surgery, and the double-eyelid line had loosened, so the previous doctor at the former clinic fixed it too firmly to the eyelid plate in order to prevent it from loosening, and that became the cause of the problem.
If you look at the photo with the eyes closed, when the double-eyelid height is not designed to be very large but the adhesion of the double eyelid is fixed too strongly to the eyelid plate, the eyelashes flip upward and eyelid eversion occurs.
If it is fixed strongly enough to cause eyelid eversion, the double-eyelid line becomes deeper, the line looks darker, and swelling lasts longer.
#EyelidEversionCorrection On the second day after surgery, swelling is at its worst after surgery,
and although the swelling is worse than before surgery in the photo above, the eyelid eversion has been corrected well, so the eyelashes that had been pulled upward are now lowered.
(Usually, when swelling is severe after double eyelid surgery, eyelid eversion often occurs temporarily.)
Of course, the inner skin of the grey line is also less visible, creating a more comfortable impression.
After rapid correction of eyelid eversion
On the second day after surgery, swelling is at its worst, but compared with before correction, the eyelid eversion is actually improved!

Whether eyelid eversion occurs in the upper eyelid or lower eyelid, the eyes usually do not close as fully.
Before surgery, when eyelid eversion was present, the eyes appeared to close less fully even though they were tightly shut, to the point that the wrinkles at the front of the eyes were more pronounced.
After surgery, even though there is swelling, the eyes are closing well.

From the side, the change in the eyelashes is especially clear.
The eyelashes that were lifted up are now resting down comfortably, right?
If the eyelashes are lifted too much after double eyelid surgery and it looks like eyelid eversion, it is best to perform rapid correction within 2 weeks after the previous surgery.
After 2 weeks, natural adhesion in the area fixed with sutures becomes stronger, so correction may become difficult.
If eyelid eversion has not improved even after 2 weeks from the previous surgery, there is a high possibility that it will not improve even after more than 6 months.
So if you are unhappy with eyelid eversion, it is best to do #rapidCorrection within 2 weeks.
You can check the change from the eyelid eversion before surgery, where the eyelashes were lifted toward the sky, to the second day after surgery, where the eyelashes have come down horizontally and the eyes close well, in the video below!
