At age 34, Ttugi and I
We looked like we’d end up getting nothing tasty to eat,
so the Tall Uncle, who had been keeping us going on convenience-store beer while treating us to drinks,
kindly bought us meat
"Is this meat? Really?"
"Yeah, but it’s not beef"
Following the Tall Uncle, we trotted off to this popular restaurant
This place already looks impressive from the outside, and it is located at the Eulji Hospital intersection.
"Samdayeon, a specialty restaurant for Jeju black pork"

There are chain locations in Daechi-dong near Seolleung Station, Nonhyeon-dong, and Yeoksam-dong.
Our top pick among them is the Nonhyeon branch.
Wow, it feels like something special.
It probably has even more atmosphere at night...

It didn’t stand out at all from far away, lol
As expected of a Jeju black pork place,
there’s a Harubang statue at the entrance..
Then we’ll go in, thank you. (bow)

My very first impression after going inside was: clean, pure and simple.
Maybe because it was still early evening,
there weren’t that many customers.
It felt like the Tall Uncle had rented the whole place out, nyahaha

After sitting down, I looked around and took photos slowly,
but what is the meaning of this photo...? What was I trying to capture?
Ah! Maybe I wanted to show
that the staff was running around energetically and passionately.
What...?

A menu is always fun and exciting to look at.
We decided to start with 3 servings of pork neck.
After refreshing our mood with a beer,
we also made sure to order a bottle of soju.. heh...

Oh my... it’s charcoal.
It’s hot as hell, but
if I were to show even a hint of being hot or frown,
the Tall Uncle’s displeasure might explode,
so we decided to smile brightly.

Aaaah.....
After eating black pork in Jeju before,
I hadn’t had it in Seoul, but this is the taste.
The meat is thick!!! The skin side is chewy!!! The lean meat is nutty + melting away, melting away

These side dishes were served too~
A lot of people grill bean sprouts and garlic together, right?
It’s not as if I have some belief that the grill should only hold meat and nothing else,
so why did I do that..?
lolllllllllllllllll

Seasoned green onion salad is, what can I say, inseparable from grilled meat.
I wanted to eat it, but I also had to take photos for the post,
and my camera focus was gradually getting blurrier.

I wandered around here and there while going to the restroom~
The space was really large~ It felt like ventilation might not be very good for people eating in the back.
Would the smoke really be able to escape well, almost like a raccoon den...?

After finishing my look around the back and coming out, there was a cabinet(?)
As expected, there were tons of wine glasses.
I know how to eat meat with wine too,
but today was just a simple fill-your-stomach kind of time, and the Tall Uncle doesn’t like wine.
...Well then, let’s eat it next time.

Cute...
Why can’t I just pass by things like thisㅠㅠ
My niece would really like this too...

Heh, I can just eat it right away..
Melt sauce... such a love-hate thing for me.
The first time I ate it without knowing anything, my eyes practically shook in shock.
I thought I had eaten raw fish, because it was that fishyㅠㅠ

But now I know to dip it generously and wrap it up neatly to eat.
I guess my taste buds changed as I got older.
Sob..ㅠㅠ My taste buds used to be so baby-like...
After finishing that, we ordered one more serving of skirt meat,
and yes..
You can probably tell by looking, right? I didn’t take a photo...
It’s a bit sudden, but instead!!!

This is the terrace, and it’s so nice!!!!!!
I liked it here so much that I saved it for later when I showed you the indoor photos..
The ending was a little disappointing because of a calculation mistake by the staff,
but I’ll 인정 the tasteㅋㅋㅋㅋ
P.S. Thank you for the meal, Tall Uncle. I’ll see you again next time when we drink convenience-store beer.
lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
