Revision Eyelid Surgery, Cases That Need Ptosis Correction, Correcting Asymmetry in Uneven Eyes

When doing eyelid surgery, there are really some eyes that cannot be addressed with just one or two procedures.

It is not a case where double eyelid surgery alone is enough, and it is definitely not something that can be improved with just epicanthoplasty alone.

For eyes like this, as I keep emphasizing, #눈성형토탈케어 is needed.

The problems with the eyes in the case above are:

1. The double eyelid line is multiple and the asymmetry is severe.

If you look closely, not only are the double eyelids uneven, but the degree to which both eyebrows are being lifted is also different.

2. Although #앞트임복원 had been performed previously, the #몽고주름갈고리 at the inner corner of the eye was not properly corrected,

so the hooked shape at the inner corner is still there.

First, the multiple double eyelid lines were organized into one line, and #눈매교정술 was performed together to strengthen the eyelid-opening muscles, helping the eyes look brighter and more defined.

In addition, #앞트임복원재수술 was performed to remove the hooked-shaped Mongolian fold and make it look softer, helping create a clearer and gentler impression.

It seems that the epicanthoplasty revision had also been done at another hospital before, but #몽고주름제거 had failed.

So with a new design, the inner corner revision was performed again to soften the hooked shape.

The filler that had been casting shadows under the eyes before surgery was also removed, which made the dark circles under the eyes look somewhat improved.

(If the under-eye area is hollow, filling it with filler may seem effective at first, but over time, due to the action of the muscles around the eyes,

it can actually make the under-eye area look more bulging, so under-eye filler should be used with caution.)

Also, the eye corners that appeared lifted were lowered to an appropriate angle with a lateral canthoplasty so that the overall eye shape could look softer.

Lateral canthoplasty lowers the eye corner while preserving the angle of the corner as much as possible, so the pointed angle of the outer corner can be maintained.

Because lowering the eye corner with #뒤트임 causes a dramatic change in the angle of the corner,

an incision scar may be visible for 2-3 months in some cases.

When such scars are visible for a while, they usually fade over time, but in the early stages after surgery, some people do feel stressed because of them,

so you should always think carefully before surgery and decide whether to proceed.

You can see that the eyelid skin that had looked wrinkled because of a slight excess of skin when the eyes were closed has been organized into a single scar line after revision surgery.

The eyelid wrinkles that appeared when looking downward were also removed and neatly organized into one incision line.

At 2 months, the scar is a little more noticeable than at 3 months.

The reason I am showing this photo at the end is that,

before surgery, the overall eye size on the left looked larger than the right.

To better match the asymmetry between the two eyes, the design of the double eyelid on the right side, where the eye looked smaller, was adjusted by removing a little more skin.

So at 2 weeks after surgery, the right double eyelid line, where a bit more skin had been removed, looked slightly larger,

but as time passed and 3 months went by, the right double eyelid line actually started to look a little smaller, right?

However, if you look at the photo with the eyes closed, even though the height of the double eyelid incision design on the right and left is almost the same,

the double eyelid line on the left looks slightly larger at 3 months after surgery because the left forehead is slightly raised and the eyebrow is lifted.

Of course, it would be ideal to match asymmetry perfectly without even a single error, but I am also a human being with some degree of error,

not a machine without error, so it is difficult to match things 100% exactly. ㅠ

In particular, the double eyelid line does not come out the same just because the double eyelid design is matched identically; it can vary depending on the degree of ptosis correction

and the degree of a habit of lifting the eyebrows differently on each side,

so this is always one of the things I think carefully about during eye surgery.

Still, I always think and continue to work hard to do my best for every surgery.

Because the eyes are a dynamic structure, checking before-and-after results with video is also very helpful.
