After work, I had to meet Manager Dduk-sil

Because we had to hand over the hospital phone^^

Just handing over a phone and leaving felt too cold

So we decided not to be so harsh and, while chatting a bit, went to Chickenbangi Jeongneung Branch

Hehe... hihih...

But in my mind, what is Chickenbangi?

• A place where neighborhood ladies and gentlemen gather in small groups to drink

That’s what Chickenbangi is like in my neighborhood...

But we had to do a quick chimaek in a short amount of time

So there wasn’t time to think about that

The menu has so many things

It was my first time at Chickenbangi, so I was a little shy

So Manager chose the menu and ordered for us

When I was little, I remember really liking eating chicken drumsticks by holding them

But from around the age of 10.5, I started liking boneless chicken that you can eat easily without sauce on your hands

But I’ll stay quiet

I can’t even choose the menu, and yet I dare to talk about boneless or bone-in?

Huh? They give corn in a rather unusual way

Manager said this was a specialty and told me to pack it up and take it home to eat

At first I waved it off, but when I ate it at home later, wow, it was a corn hotspot

When I asked them to pack it for me to take, the owner added four more corns...(fondly)

Anyway

We were like, whoa

We ordered wrong, damn it

Sir, we ordered Chickenbangi.....

We didn’t order chicken and whelk separately...

Fumbling around, the owner said,

"We gave you a lot because we had some extra. Please enjoy it~"

We were hungry and wondering what to order after Chickenbangi,

but wow... you really didn’t need to do that.....

My mouth was speaking, but my eyes were already smiling

The chicken was already seasoned on the inside, so it was naturally salty and the batter was really crispy

The whelk salad had big pieces of whelk

As for the somyeon, some places just break apart and taste floury,

but this was sweet, tangy, and soft—right from the moment I saw how well they boiled the corn...

But let me say one thing here

That salad? The one that comes next to the chicken...

Manager and I were both eating it deliciously when suddenly Manager said,

"Please give us more of this here."

"What...? I don’t think we need to order more.."

In the end... Manager didn’t even touch that salad, and because of that

we ended up making that kind owner produce nothing but food waste

Oh, and my family’s beast, Kong, got neutered^^

He never even got to meet a girl once.....
