In terms of the parts that determine an image and impression,
the feeling created by the eyes accounts for a large part.
Because of this, more and more people are looking into eye surgery and planning cosmetic procedures.
Over time, preferred eye shapes have also changed.
In the past, large and glamorous eyes were in fashion,
but now, many people prefer eye shapes that look natural and suit them well.

Eyes that are simply large are not necessarily beautiful.
You need a customized procedure that suits you in order to achieve satisfying surgical results.
When performing eye surgery, not only the double eyelid but also the eye shape, the outer corners of the eyes, and the distance between the eyes
must be carefully considered and designed to achieve highly satisfying results.
In this case, the patient underwent double eyelid reoperation, inner canthoplasty without incision, and lateral canthoplasty reoperation at our clinic.

This is a double eyelid line that does not suit the eyes.
A higher double eyelid does not automatically mean the eyes will look biggerㅠㅠ
On the contrary, if the line is set too high in a way that does not match the eyes,
it can lead to a sausage-like double eyelid and make the eyes look even smaller.
What is the surgical method for double eyelid lowering reoperation?
The lowering reoperation is performed with an incision,
and by removing the remaining scar tissue from the previous double eyelid surgery and releasing the adhesions,
the double eyelid line can be redrawn to suit the eyes.
The recovery period and swelling after double eyelid lowering surgery are relatively shorter than when raising the double eyelid line.^^ㅎ

What we know as inner canthoplasty is
a procedure that exposes the lacrimal caruncle and makes the inner corners of the eyes look wider and more open.
In this case, because the distance between the eyes was not that wide and the patient did not want it opened too much,
a slight opening was done and only the Mongolian fold was removed^^ㅎ

The patient had previously undergone lateral canthoplasty at another hospital,
but the eyes did not open wider, and instead the conjunctiva was turned outward, leaving only severe red scarringㅠㅠ
In such cases, restoration is possible,
but this patient wanted the eyes to become bigger, so the procedure was performed as a lateral canthoplasty reoperation.
Although the procedure was done as a reoperation rather than restoration,
the noticeable red scar was removed and you can see that the eyes have opened up.
Red scars that appear after lateral canthoplasty can be improved with lateral canthoplasty reoperation instead of lateral canthoplasty restoration!
After lateral canthoplasty, if a red scar or side effect occurs, people often think it must be improved with restoration,
but
it can be sufficiently improved with lateral canthoplasty reoperation.^^
