If one of my eyes is uneven, how much of that can you understand?
Everyone has some degree of asymmetry, so unevenness can appear anywhere along the body’s midline.
But there are cases of unevenness that are too severe to make sense of, even if you try to understand them.

- Uneven double eyelid lines
Before surgery - Looking at the photo, you can see that the heights of the double eyelids are completely different.
The double eyelid on the left eye in the photo is not thick, but the double eyelid on the right eye in the photo is much thicker,
so the difference between the two sides stands out dramatically even to a third party.
After surgery - The double eyelid lines have been adjusted to a similar height, creating a stable impression.
- Uneven eye size
What does uneven eye size mean? It refers to the degree to which the pupils are exposed.
Before surgery - You can see that the right eye opens less than the left eye.
This happens because there is a difference in the strength of the muscles that open the eyes on both sides.
After surgery - When the strength used to open the eyes differs, eye correction surgery is needed to adjust the muscles.
The pupils that were hidden before surgery were matched to a similar size after surgery.
- Uneven epicanthal folds from epicanthoplasty
Before surgery - The patient had already undergone epicanthoplasty, but the epicanthal fold was still present,
resulting in a constricted-looking eye shape.
After surgery - The epicanthal fold was greatly improved, and the inner corners were opened up more clearly, creating a much better impression.

If the crease line that appears in the double eyelid line when the eyes are closed or lowered is too deep,
it can make the surgery look obvious.
After double eyelid revision surgery, the deep scar that existed before surgery became less noticeable,
so when looking downward, it felt much more natural than before.

By changing the direction of the epicanthoplasty from downward to forward,
you can see that the eyes now give a completely different impression even without opening the inner corners very widely.
Another procedure is under-eye fat repositioning revision surgery.
Under-eye fat refers to the fat layer around the eyeball that, over time, sags and shifts downward under the eyes in order to protect the eyeball.
This can recur over time or if you have a habit of rubbing your eyes, even after a previous procedure.
In such cases, the under-eye fat can be repositioned once more to create a smoother contour,
and if the repositioning is done well, recurrence requiring revision surgery within 1 to 2 years is almost nonexistent. ^^
Eye surgery does not mean that you have to do everything.
You need to undergo the procedures that suit your individual eye condition in order to achieve the best possible result.
Rather than a clinic that unconditionally recommends many procedures,
you should find one that explains the relationships between procedures and recommends only the procedures that are truly necessary.
That is how you can get a satisfying result.
