[Rari Plastic Surgery] Before and After Right Non-incisional Double Eyelid Reoperation

Many people think that when a surgically created double eyelid comes undone, the double eyelid disappears.

In fact, when a double eyelid loosens, unless it is completely undone,

a new line forms through the action of force in a different area,

rather than the area held by the thread.

The patient above had double eyelid surgery, so both eyes were similar,

but as the double eyelid on the right eye (left side in the photo) loosened and a line formed above it,

the asymmetry between the eyes became more pronounced.

In such cases, one may consider operating on only one side to match the preferred eye,

and the left eye was operated on to create a lower line that matched the right eye.

Compared with the previous state, where the asymmetry was severe, both eyes now look similar.

Even when looking downward,

the right eye (left side in the photo), where the double eyelid line used to appear as two lines before surgery,

has been neatly adjusted so that after surgery it now looks like a single line rather than a double fold.

Because the incision area is about the size of a hole,

even when the eyes are closed, the surgical scar does not remain prominently,

so it can provide an effect without being noticeable.

This is also a merit of non-incisional surgery.

Compared with before, the asymmetry has clearly been corrected and looks much better,

and the previously high line has been adjusted lower, resulting in a more natural and stable eye shape.
