and the black pupil, which is covered by the upper eyelid,

Because the patient was somewhat older, the loose skin from sagging tissue

means that the wrinkles visible when closing the eyes

have improved somewhat after surgery.

Also, the eyes that were not fully closed at the beginning

now close well at the 4-month follow-up.

Although the double eyelid fold is gone,

the eyes are clearly larger than before surgery,

and they have changed from looking sleepy and constricted

to looking clear and defined.

Just as there are cases where eyelid correction is needed and cases where it is not,
