[Lari Plastic Surgery] Revision double-eyelid surgery that also requires eye-opening correction: before-and-after photos for asymmetric eyes

Asymmetry, uneven eyes—when the eyes are asymmetric,

you cannot make both sides match with the same type of surgery.

For some people, the double-eyelid fold sizes are different,

and for others, the degree to which the eyes open is different,

and some people have a combination of these factors.

In the case of the patient above, the left eye in the photo (right eye)

had a small double-eyelid fold and a weaker eye-opening force compared to the other side,

so the eye was much more covered by the inner fold,

while the opposite eye, the right eye in the photo (left eye), had a larger and thicker double-eyelid fold,

but because the eye-opening force was strong, the pupil was clearly visible.

The thicker line was adjusted through revision double-eyelid surgery to reduce the thickness of the fold,

and the smaller double-eyelid line was made slightly larger while also performing eye-opening correction surgery to strengthen the eye,

so that the degree of pupil exposure on both sides could be made similar.

By applying different procedures suited to each eye’s condition,

the degree of asymmetry improved much more after surgery than before.

Also, when looking downward, there are cases where the fold appears puffy like a sausage.

That kind of appearance happens when the double-eyelid is made too thick and too strong.

During revision surgery, controlling this part

is another skill to make the double-eyelid line look less puffy.

Many people worry about scarring when undergoing incision-based revision double-eyelid surgery,

but in the patient above, it is visually clear that the scar actually improved compared to before,

and in the photo, the right eye (left eye) also benefited from lowering the double-eyelid line a little

and removing a mole that had been on the double-eyelid line at the same time. ^^
