Many people visit Lari Plastic Surgery for eye surgery and receive a consultation.
However, during the consultation, some people are told,
"You need to get forehead Botox one week before the surgery."
or
"It seems like you should get forehead Botox at the time of surgery."
When this happens, we may wonder, "Why?"

Looking at this photo, even though the double eyelids were removed six months ago,
it still looks a little uneven, and the double eyelids do not seem to have disappeared properly.
The reason is
because of the forehead muscle usage!
First of all, the eyes are affected not only by the eye muscles but also by the forehead muscles.
When opening the eyes, some people, either because they do not have enough strength to open their eyes or out of habit,
use the forehead muscles instead of the eye muscles.
In such cases, the eyebrows rise together when the eyes are opened, affecting the double-eyelid line.
As the forehead is used frequently, the eyelids repeatedly stretch and contract,
which can create hollows in the upper eyelid area or form lines other than the double-eyelid line.

This photo is also after the same surgery,
but the difference is that one month has passed since receiving forehead Botox.
Doesn't the eyes look much clearer and more stable?
The Botox many people know works by paralyzing the muscles so they cannot be used,
so it may seem that getting Botox would make the forehead feel heavy and make it harder to open the eyes.
However, opening the eyes with the strength of the eyes rather than the forehead makes the eyes look much clearer.
Not sure what that means?

To compare the two photos more effectively, a line has been drawn across the top.
In this photo, using the line as a reference, the eyebrows in the left image are lifted up,
while in the right image the eyebrows are aligned with the line.
This is because after forehead Botox treatment, the use of the forehead muscles decreases and the eyebrows become fixed in place.
When the eyebrows do not rise, the upper eyelid does not stretch or get pulled upward,
so the eyes appear more relaxed and settled.
Now, does the difference before and after forehead Botox treatment feel clear?

Because it is difficult to think that Botox treatment alone would improve so many things,
we initially had the same question,
but we were able to confirm through photos that forehead Botox treatment brought many positive changes to the results of eye surgery.
Since Botox has a temporary effect, one downside is that it needs to be administered regularly,
but because the difference before and after is clear and the resulting positive effects are greater overall,
it is better to keep getting it regularly even if you think, 'Do I really need this.....?'!
Of course, the choice is up to each individual, so nothing is being forced.
Please make your decision after reading this post thoroughly~
