Let’s look at the photos.

Looking at the pre-surgery photo,

the double eyelids are not extremely thick...

but the double eyelid line does not suit the eyes and is gathered in an unbalanced, sausage-like shape,

and the eyes are unable to open well, making it look as if the double eyelids are pressing down on the eyes.

For this kind of unbalanced double eyelid, it is cleaner to remove the double eyelid altogether

so that the double eyelid line is not visible on the outside.

For deep-set eyes like this patient’s,

if the double eyelid line becomes even slightly thicker,

it can look puffy like a sausage and make the eyes look smaller instead,

so rather than insisting on a big, flashy double eyelid line,

surgery should be done after finding a double eyelid line that suits the degree of eye prominence and the eye shape.

At 6 months after surgery, the double eyelid line had clearly become reduced to the point that it was barely visible,

but the eyes did not become smaller at all; instead, they looked larger,

and the clearer, more defined impression created a better image.

The size of the double eyelid line and the size of the eyes are not proportional ^^

Sometimes, lowering the line actually creates eyes that look bigger and prettier.

It’s good to want the eyes you want, but it’s better to find the eyes that suit you,
