Uneven eyes are not always a bad thing,

but people in Korea generally do not like asymmetry.

For example, when makeup is applied and the eyebrows are drawn differently on each side,

This patient originally had natural double eyelids, but after having buried-suture surgery once on the right eye,

she was unhappy with the result and came to the hospital one month later with the buried sutures removed.

the double eyelid line on the right eye was not only strongly formed, but also formed in a double layer,

making the difference between the two eyes even more pronounced.

Because asymmetry does not leave a very good impression in Korea,

after removing the double eyelids from both eyes with double eyelid removal surgery,

the left-right balance became better than before surgery.

Compared with before surgery, when there were double eyelids, the eyes may feel slightly smaller,

but the sense that the eyes were opening too wide and looked strained has been corrected,

and after removing the double eyelids, the eyes look much more masculine than when the double eyelids were present.

In this patient’s case, the brow bone has a masculine, protruding skeletal structure, so rather than round eyes with thick and deep double eyelids,

a horizontally long monolid eye without double eyelids suits him better.^^

This was a one-stone-two-birds procedure: it removed thick and heavy double eyelids with double eyelid removal surgery

while also correcting the asymmetry so that both eyes became balanced.
