When there is this much extra skin, a certain amount has to be removed, so surgery is performed using an incision method. After the incision, it is important to fully release the adhesions inside the tissue that create the double eyelid, as this has a major effect on achieving a complete monolid result after surgery. Also, if removing the area covered by sagging skin allows the previously hidden eye to be seen clearly, that is good. But if not, then the force used to open the eyes should also be evenly strengthened.

After surgery, the eye area became neat, as if it had returned to its previous monolid appearance.

Although this surgery can tidy up the skin to some extent, the skin itself is flexible and can sag with aging. If time passes and the skin sags, creating extra skin, then the eyes may again become covered by sagging skin or reach a state where a double eyelid seems like it might form but does not, so we should do our best to prevent the eyelid skin from sagging as much as possible. Avoid rubbing the eyes and apply eye cream properly, and make efforts to prevent external factors.
