These days, even semi-out-line?

The small crease above the eye has so many different shapes and names.

It would be nice if all of these variously named shapes suited the look I want,

This patient underwent incisional eye correction surgery.

Looking at the pre-surgery photo, the upper eyelid appears puffy,

and not only because of fat, but also because the skin itself seems thick.

For this type of eye, the buried suture method, that is, the non-incisional method, is difficult.

As you can see, if you hold thick skin in place with just two or three stitches,

the stitches are not strong enough to hold, so there is a high chance they will come loose.

So for eyes like the one above, it is better to have surgery using the incisional method. One year after incisional eye correction surgery, the eyes are clearly opened and look more distinct.

Next to the method, what we should look at is the shape. For eyes like the one described above, if the double-eyelid line is made large and dramatic,

the chance of the crease coming undone is high, and even if it does not come undone,

a thick sausage-like line can easily form. Also, because the double eyelid itself is thick, even eye correction can make it difficult to open the eyes clearly and sharply.

Even if I want a dramatic line, for eyes like this, setting the line as a natural in-line semi-double eyelid

is the most natural, and it also makes the eyes open best, which is more comfortable.

One more thing worth noting is the deeply indented scar that was on the right upper eyelid before surgery.

The scar, which was awkwardly located on the eyelid, was removed at the same time as the incisional eye correction surgery,

and because this was done with the incisional method, scar correction that could not have been done with the non-incisional method could be performed together.

Because it is the incisional method, many people immediately worry about scars,

but if you look at the photo with the eyes closed after surgery, the scar from the eye correction is barely noticeable,

and the scar from removing the indented scar on the right eyelid is also clean.
