[Lari Plastic Surgery] Correcting Uneven Eyes with Non-Incisional Revision Surgery

Unlike procedures, surgery is said to be semi-permanent,

but if you think about it, there are cases where double eyelid surgery becomes loose and epicanthoplasty or canthoplasty folds back.

That is not because I did something wrong, and it is not because the surgery was done poorly,

so we cannot help but keep revision surgery in mind.

The photo above shows a case where a non-incisional double eyelid fold has become loose.

There is always a possibility that a surgically created double eyelid fold may loosen,

but it is rare for both sides to loosen in exactly the same way at the same time.

If only one side of the double eyelid loosens like that,

depending on the original size of the fold,

the larger the double eyelid, the more uneven the two eyes become.

If this kind of condition causes stress or concern,

revision surgery is performed.

For this patient, the incision method of surgery was personally 부담스러운,

and the degree of skin sagging and skin type also made non-incisional surgery possible,

so the revision surgery was performed with a non-incisional approach.

The surgical result was very positive and effective.

This was because we did not operate only on the eye with the loosened fold,

but also performed surgery on the other eye to improve the overlapping crease,

bringing both eyes into similar alignment.

Sometimes patients suddenly look downward

and point out the difference, saying it looks different like this,

but when you look downward, bruising and swelling after surgery are present,

so the size of the double eyelid line on both eyes may look different,

while there is no major difference when the eyes are opened straight ahead.

Eye surgery is planned based on the appearance when looking straight ahead,

so it is difficult to match those secondary details in complete detailㅠ

Having almost no scar is the greatest strength of non-incisional surgery.

However, since this is still a photo taken around day 4 after surgery,

it would be good to view the incision area with bruising and swelling in mind.

Those with a keen eye will have noticed that the post-surgery appearance

shows a very~~~~~ slight difference between the two eyes.

The left eye (right side in the photo) may appear to have a slightly thicker line than the right eye (left side in the photo).

Because the left eye (right side in the photo) had previously experienced loosening of the double eyelid fold,

the fold was made a bit stronger, so a temporary difference is visible,

but as time passes and the swelling goes down, the two sides will naturally settle into a similar balance.
