When the area under the eyes bulges outward,

it can create shadows and look like wrinkles,

which does not give a good impression.

What bulges outward like this is

the fat around the eyes that protects the eyeballs.

The purpose of this fat is a good one, but

as time passes, it is affected by gravity and, as we age,

it is pushed downward beneath the eyes,

and the result of this is unfortunately not good.

If the area under the eyes becomes bulging, over a long period of time

it gets worse, and the skin sags, forming real wrinkles.

so many people understandably feel more burdened by it than by lower eyelid fat repositioning surgery,

but this patient came in before it progressed that far,

and was able to have the area under the eyes become neat and brighter with lower eyelid fat repositioning surgery.
